Join us!!
Want to get involved with the neighbourhood association? Can you volunteer in one way or another? Here are some opportunities.
Annual General Meeting
Wed, April 29 at 7 – 8 PM
Location: Greenbrier Public School, 33 White Oaks Ave.
Once a year we have a special public meeting to elect executive committee members and discuss the business of the neighbourhood association. All residents of the Greenbrier neighbourhood are welcome (neighbourhood boundaries are King George Rd, Powerline, Memorial, and Dunsdon).
Flyering Team
As the spring and summer roll in we like to promote Neighbourhood Association events and activities through community flyers delivered door-to-door. This helps us reach community members who are not connected to us through email and Social Media, and is especially helpful since our Neighbourhood Association is not even a year old.
If you would like to volunteer for our flyering team, please sign up. By signing up we will periodically contact you to see if you are available on a particular week to hand out flyers in our community. We anticipate handing out about 100 flyers to each volunteer for each flyering run, which should only take an hour to complete.
We know that some in our community are particularly interested in seeing our Greenbrier Park playground re-constructed. Helping with flyering is a tangible way for you to help us in this effort, since it allows for us to rally more of our community.

We appreciate your help!
Thank you to our rink team!!
A special THANK YOU to those who volunteered for our community skating rink team! Even though this year’s weather did not result in very many days of usable ice, we appreciate the willingness of those who volunteered to setup and regularly flood the rink.
This project cannot happen without volunteers, so if you would like to pre-sign-up for next year’s rink team, please do so. Even if you have previously signed up, you may take your name off the volunteer list at any time.
