I am a wife and mother to 4 daughters (aged 6, 5, 3 and 7 months) My husband and I have lived in the Tranquility neighbourhood for 7 years. My husband, Nate, works for a small renovating company, and on his free time has been slowly renovating and updating our own home. When I can find some spare time from educating and teaching my older daughters and caring for the baby, I love card making and designing and creating baby quilts. Even though I do not send my children to the Greenbrier school I do still see it as a major asset to our community. Being a stay-at-home mother with young children I find it important for both myself and my girls to be part of and know our community. I would often take my girls to the school playground to play with the other children their age before or after school while I caught up with and met new moms, caregivers and teachers. Without the playground, this opportunity is no longer available and greatly missed. We look forward and are willing to work hard to see its return.
